Below is important information about Shadow and should be read by all people wishing to take part in the event.
- Teams can enter one of four competitions: Out of County, Nottinghamshire County, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Nottinghamshire Youth Service.
- Teams must be made up of five male and/or female young people.
- Teams should be made up of a team captain, two navigators and two first aiders.
- Navigational and first aid training can be provided if required. However, if training is available locally please take advantage of it but contact The Adventure Office on 01623 556110 beforehand to check.
- The age range for participants is between 13 and 19.
- The cost per team is £35.00.
- Team names must be included on the application form. The team name must be unique and cannot be changed. we are unable to accept team names which use letters or numbers to distinguish them.
- Teams have to take responsibility for the safe conduct of all the team members in what can be a long and strenuous activity.
