Katie's Manifesto

"Hi my name is Katie and I am sixteen years old. I have been a member of Youth Parliament for the past year and I feel that I would like to carry on the good work that I have already achieved.

I feel that I need to continue our campaign for a Transport Concessions Card for all under eighteen’s because it is important to all young people especially ones who have to catch one or more buses to school and college each day.

I also think that I need to continue with the campaign for better sex and relationships education as this is a strong subject and I feel that the teaching of this needs to be reviewed and made more suitable.

As well as both of the above campaigns I would like to see our Votes at Sixteen campaign get better and get more young people on side.

If you vote for me I will try my best to do all of these things and more.

Because after all we are the FUTURE and our voices need to be heard."
