Katie's Manifesto

"As a candidate for the Member of Youth Parliament Elections I am taking up the following issues:

Smoking

Everywhere I go there are smokers, clogging up the air. As many smokers may know as well as harming themselves they harm other people around them. If I am elected I will make a fair point of smokers being banned from public places.

Cleaner Environment

The world we live in could be better, the streets are covered with litter not to mention bubble gum stuck to the floor and dogs doing their mess. I will introduce fines for littering and dog mess.

Youth Entertainment

Youths in England sometimes misbehave through graffiti, under age smoking and drinking and abusing their community. There would be a lot less misbehavior and a much safer environment if we had something to do!

All Age Sports

With more sports we will have healthier people, less obesity to deal with and more entertained youths not causing distress to the community.

If I am elected I will hope all these points come to view. I hope very strongly that I am elected seen as it is my first chance since School Council to make a change. Thank you for your time, and remember: a vote for me means happier lives!"
