Young People Speak out at Bassetlaw District Youth Assembly Consultation Day
The Bassetlaw District Youth Assembly is a group of dedicated young people that work together and speak up for all those that don't have the chance to use their voice because they are either too afraid to speak up or do not get the support that young people deserve.
Young people in today's society are often classed by the media as vandals or mindless yobs that do nothing but destroy and mug the older generations for their last pennies. Well it's time that this perception changed!!
Young people today deserve the chance to have equal representation and the BDYA is just what the doctor ordered, so to speak. If the young people of today work together as one then we can have the chance to overturn these perceptions and show the public what we are really made of!
We should demand to be seen and heard and shape the way that our town and future should be, after all we live here and we are the future!
