Accredited Courses available at all three Adventure Bases

• Usually 10 or 11 hours of tuition over 5 sessions;
• Price is per group of 8.

5 x 2 hour sessions in kayak and canoe skills.  Syllabus includes:

• Basic strokes;
• Safety awareness;
• Equipment handling;
• Capsize drill and swim.

Prices as follows: A = £300, B = £120 (Certificates are no longer available, pass slips will be given and these can be sent to the BCU for certificates at a cost of £5 each.)   See Adventure price structure.

4 x 2 hour sessions in kayak and canoe skills plus a river trip of 3 hours (from Lakeside or Sandhill Lake).  Syllabus includes:

• Developed strokes;
• Safety awareness;
• Equipment handling;
• Capsize drill and swim;
• River trip.
