Reforms to school accountability and testing
The Secretary of State Ed Balls has today announced major reforms to school accountability and testing, and has written to all schools. A copy of his letter is available to download.

Nottinghamshire Children and Young People’s Partnership works to provide services for all children and young people in Nottinghamshire to improve their life chances and to help them maximise their potential.
In delivering this vision for Nottinghamshire we will provide services to help children and young people to:
Be Healthy - enjoying good physical, sexual and emotional health, through living a healthy lifestyle.
Stay Safe - protected from harm, neglect, bullying, serious accidental injury and crime.
Enjoy and Achieve - academically and socially, through play, leisure and recreation, as well as within school.
Make a Positive Contribution - to the community and society, developing self-confidence and being involved in decision making.
Achieve Economic Wellbeing - taking up employment, training or further education opportunities.
We are committed to improving what we do for children and young people by working together and delivering co-ordinated and integrated services.
Prevention and early intervention is of central importance to our partnership work and we will regularly review our activity to make this a reality in Nottinghamshire.
