There are five rooms available to hire at County Hall. These rooms are available for hire on weekday evenings and anytime on Saturdays. On this page you will find:

Civil wedding ceremonies/wedding receptions
The Council chamber and the Rufford suite are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies evenings and Saturdays.
We are not able to take a booking for a ceremony without booking a reception, but we are able to take a booking for a wedding reception when the ceremony has been held elsewhere.
Hire costs
Assembly room:
£75 per hour for up to six hours. Over six hours there is a one off charge of £400.
Rufford suite:
£40 per hour for up to six hours. Over six hours there is a one off charge of £200.
Council chamber:
£40 per hour for up to six hours. Over six hours there is a one off charge of £200.
Committee rooms:
£20 per hour for up to six hours. Over six hours there is a one off charge of £100.
Flip charts, over-head projectors and laptop projectors are available on request.
