A response to the invitation from NHS trusts to comment on their annual health check declaration to the Healthcare Commission.
The annual health check was introduced by the Healthcare Commission in 2005-06 as a new approach to assessing and reporting on the performance of NHS Trusts replacing the previous star ratings assessment system.
