The Communities and the Environment standing committee meets every six weeks to scrutinise highways, environment, culture and communities in the county - with reviews carried out by smaller groups of councillors. It considers potential items for scrutiny, provides an initial scope and sets the terms of reference for reviews carried out by the committee.
