How are we doing

Performance at the Council is assessed both externally and internally:

• the Audit Commission judges the Council each year through the Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA). At the moment, the Council's organisational assessment has the rating of three out of four and is “performing well”
• the Council reports directly to the public and partners in performance reports such as the Annual Performance Report
• we also listen to the views of the population of Nottinghamshire, so we conduct regular satisfaction surveys which help us to improve our services
• in order to further improve, we also welcome external overview from the Business Improvement Board, which reviews and advises on the running of the Council.
