Householders
Service changes
Holders of residents’ parking permits will have to pay up to £50 for a two year permit. The fee is in line with those levied by other councils.
If you wish to have a kerb dropped outside your house, you will now need to pay for this service.
The cost of a skip permit, required if you for leave a skip on the road outside your house, will increase.
If you live in Gedling, Stapleford or Sutton, the Household Waste and Recycling Centres will close as we run more tips than other councils. Your nearest tips will be Calverton, Beeston and Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
The Council's six County Contact offices will close, however, the face-to-face advice service will be provided in an alternative way, possibly based in libraries or other council buildings.
Businesses
With local businesses still dealing with the effect of recession, the Council will maintain spending on regeneration and development.
