To vote in an election you will need to be on the electoral register.

You should have had an electoral registration form delivered to your home in August or September and returned it showing everyone who was expected to live there on 15th October.  If you didn’t return the form you should have had a reminder and possibly an electoral registration officer will have called to help you complete the form.

If you want to check whether you are on the electoral register then contact the electoral registration officer at your district council.
