We are supporting community regeneration activity in Nottinghamshire by encouraging the sustainable development of a range of what can collectively be called community resource centres. Such places vary in scale, scope and ambition across the county but all have common themes of:
- Offering a "one-stop shop" for services and advice
- Developing self-reliance, independence and community-based regeneration activity
- Providing high quality facilities which engender pride and support and allow local communities to make things happen.
A directory of community resource centres in the county, and the facilities and services they offer is currently being updated and will be available here shortly. If you would like your centre to be included please use the contact details below.
The Economic Development service offers a range of support to different centres across Nottinghamshire, including:
- Signposting to sources of advice and support
- Maintaining the CRC directory and promoting their use
- Providing links to other County Council services
Such information and advice is available to independently run and managed centres, not those run by statutory agencies.
