People with mobility difficulties
These are the services that we provide for people who are disabled or people who need help with transportation. Dial-A-Ride The Dial-A-Ride scheme offers a specialised door-to-door travel service for people who are unable to use public transport. Blue Badge Scheme (formerly Orange Badge Scheme) Blue parking badges allow cars carrying people who are registered blind or people who have severe walking difficulties to be parked near shops, stations and other facilities. It replaces the Orange Badge Scheme. More information on community minibuses and voluntary car schemes is available on our traffic and travel pages. The Special Access Scheme is a concession granted to persons who have particular mobility difficulties to allow vehicular access to pedestrian areas in Nottinghamshire.
