A scheme to provide high quality improvements to Sutton Bus Station was completed in April 2009.
The new facilities include:
- High quality modern bus shelters
- Improved passenger access to buses achieved by raising and re-aligning the kerb
- Improved lighting and additional CCTV to reduce the 'fear of crime' and increase security
- New seating, litter bins and cycle stands
- Improved crossing facilities and new guard rails
- New paving and landscaping
- Electronic bus timetable information.
