By the end of the session you will have an understanding of infection control, associated legislation and the procedures and precautions of spreading infection, enabling the attendee to:
- have an understanding of legislation relevant to infection control
- identify why effective infection control is important
- identify potential risks and transmission of infections
- have an understanding of infectious diseases/illnesses
- be able to demonstrate effective methods of hygienic cleansing processes
- identify correct waste management.
