Access to information
We are committed to making the information we provide as easily accessible as possible. Some of the ways we do this are described below.
Listen to our website
You can have our web pages read out loud to you. You do not need any special software to do this. For instructions on how to listen to the website see our accessibility web page.
Alternative formats for our publications
You can download PDF and Word versions of many of our publications. If you need any alternative formats (for example Braille, large print, audio described) contact the Customer Service Centre.
Translation service
If you need:
- any of our information translating into a different language
- an interpreter in any meetings with the Council
ask the member of staff who is dealing with you or contact the Customer Service Centre.
Our translation service is also available to other local authorities, public sector organisations and registered charities.
Language line
For over the phone interpretation call our Customer Service Centre on 08449 80 80 80. They use Language Line for instant telephone translation.
