Specialist benefits advice

We provide specialist advice services to the following groups of people in Nottinghamshire:

  • people with severe learning disabilities and their carers
  • people who are going into residential care or staying at home with support from the Adult Social Care and Health Department
  • people who use mental health services and their carers
  • people who are HIV positive or have AIDS
  • people who use the Home Care service
  • people who are deaf or visually impaired
  • adoptive families, before and after adoption
  • disabled children and their carers
  • carers (people who look after someone else who is ill, frail or disabled, without payment).
