Specialist benefits advice
We provide specialist advice services to the following groups of people in Nottinghamshire:
- People with severe learning disabilities and their carers
- People who are going into residential care or staying at home with support from the Adult Social Care and Health Department
- People who use mental health services and their carers
- People who are HIV positive or have AIDS
- People who use the Home Care service
- People who are deaf or visually impaired
- Adoptive families, before and after adoption
- Disabled children and their carers
- Carers (people who look after someone else who is ill, frail or disabled, without payment).
- People who have had a stroke and their carers
