Around 1000 amateur teams from Under 8s to Veterans play within the county.

Nottinghamshire County Football Association's (Nottinghamshire FA) Development Team can advise you on a host of topics including:

• Coach education    a programme of coach education and training for teachers, coaches and leaders delivered  by FA qualified staff.

• Mini soccer    a game encouraging football to be played in a fun and safe environment where 6-10 year olds develop their skills, technique and passion for the game
• Disability football   Nottinghamshire disability football focus group promotes opportunities for football in local schools, day centres and clubs.
  Womens and girls football organised football through quality local coaching and competition.for young girls (10-16) and women. Women's coaching courses and access to the Nottinghamshire FA Women's Coaches Football Forum
