Rufford Mill at Rufford Country Park
Rufford Abbey Country Park is a historic estate in the Nottinghamshire Dukeries, just a few miles east of famous Sherwood Forest. The park now offers a stylish country venue for civil weddings/civil partnership celebrations, and a choice of two attractive locations for your reception.
The Talbot Suite, Rufford Mill
 
 
Overlooking Rufford Lake, this was once the corn mill for the Rufford estate.
On the first floor of the historic building is The Talbot Suite, a delightful function suite in a fresh, modern style. The Talbot Suite is easily accessed by both lift and stairs. Its spacious 49' x 29' area will seat 120 theatre style or 80 banquet style, with a separate bar area adjoining. A car park in the Mill courtyard offers 20 parking spaces, with ample extra parking a short stroll away in the woodland car park.
The Savile Restaurant
For smaller receptions and wedding breakfasts, the Savile Restaurant at Rufford Abbey is a venue steeped in history. Once the main kitchen of the historic Abbey, with its high ceiling and flagstone floor the room has a Victorian country house ambiance.
The Savile Restaurant is a 10 - 15 minute walk from Rufford Mill through the park. It seats up to 50 guests. All food is freshly prepared in our own kitchens. Car parking is in the main Abbey car park, a short walk away.
