How to get involved

Love parks and want to get more actively involved?  Why not become a park volunteer?

Volunteers carry out practical conservation work, ranging from woodland maintenance to litter control. We provide all tools and equipment necessary.

All you need to take part is a sense of fun, some spare time and the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get grubby!

Or if you prefer different ways of helping, how about volunteering as a marshall or costumed character in one of our seasonal events, such as Frosty the Snowman's Christmas Walk at Rufford Abbey??
