Come celebrate your family as a family at Rufford Country Park for the Big Draw 2010.

NO experience needed, its fun, its for the family & its FREE!

This year The Big Draw is working with National Parents Week to create the theme, ‘Knowing Families: How well do you know yours?'

Come along during the four days of the event and work with the artists on hand to add your own family faces to this visual spectacle. The artists will work with you to create bunting featuring family portraits.

Arts Big Draw Absolutely no drawing experience is needed and the artists will help even the most hesitant beginner to get drawing and to have fun! Come draw your relatives, friends, your class, a group you belong to, colleagues or even your pet. Everyone will have someone they can draw.

The bunting will be strung out across the Abbey Lawn transforming the grounds into a sea of family faces, creating a riot of colour viewed from the Abbey ruins.

The Big Draw, the annual month-long celebration of drawing around the UK each October, developed by “The Campaign for Drawing”.The Campaign encourages everyone to draw and is changing the way drawing is perceived. It changes the value of drawing to help people see, think, invent and take action.
