August 2011	None		I was trying to locate the right department to order a birth certificate for Francis Hodson b.c 1812 in East Retford and his marriage to Maria Sanderson on 12 Jan 1833. I was not successful - please advise	A response was provided advising the enquirer of our parish register holdings and about making enquiries. The entries specified were located in parish registers and advice on copying the entries was also provided.

July 2011	Manorial records		Was not able to find out info sought. Am looking to find any paper/documents on Welbeck Abbey and estate prior to about 1920. Many of my family worked in and around the estate for many years.	A response was provided suggesting the enquirer visit the Access to Archives web site at www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/a2a which holds copies of catalogues relating to the archives of the Dukes of Portland, who lived at Welbeck Abbey
July 2011	Family history: wills and probate		It told me nothing about gaining access to a will when I am unable to visit Nottinghamshire, I live in Australia. I hope you are moving towards an on-line index and ordering system of such documents as is available in other repositories such as Lichfield and the National Archives.	A response relating to our holdings was provided to the enquirer. New work will be carried out on our family history pages and work continues on adding probate records to our online catalogue (available soon) Oct 2011: wills proved at Southwell, Mansfield, Ossington, Dale Abbey, Gringley on the Hill and Shelford now available on our online catalogue

March 2011	Online catalogue coverage		The Archives hold quite a lot of Parish Records but you cannot see in your catalogue what parishes you hold, or what dates they cover. February 2011	Visiting archives		Garbage, you click the online link and finish up at details how to physically visit. Total rubbish - I don't know why you bother.	No information has been provided as to which link has been used or what the user expected to find, so it is not possible to make an alteration

January 2011	Archives		Notts archives are really helpful always. The service is quick and the quantity of archive material amazing. My only criticism is the cost of digital reproduction which I think is quite high in comparison with photocopies.	No alteration has currently been made to this page.

August 2010	Copies from microfiche		I have asked many enquiries to your staff and I've always had a quick response, your staff have always been excellent to me, I cannot praise them enough. Please thank them, and give my sincere thanks to one and all. I cannot praise them enough, well done, you are all brilliant, I am housebound and cannot get out, so I have to email my enquiries, but your staff have treated me fantastic in every way, thank you to you all. April 2010	Broad Marsh and Narrow Marsh: Health in the Marshes		It is a helpful and welcoming site - thankyou! The only improvement I can suggest is to allow the images to be enlarged to a readable size when clicked on - it took me a little while to notice the clickable direction at the END of the text - perhaps it could be nearer the image? And please could the enlargement allowed be larger???	Adobe Reader does allow users to magnify images using the 'Zoom to' function from the View menu. We will consider where we place links in future exhibitions.
