The Learning Outside the Classroom Service (formerly the Environmental Education Support Service) provides a wide range of centres and resources to support outdoor and environmental education in all Nottinghamshire County Council schools and helps schools to access a wide range of other educational opportunities and environmental initiatives.

The Service has been offering outdoor education advice, opportunities, residential/day centres and training to schools and other organisations working with young people for many years and has a long established national reputation in broadening the educational horizons of young people and enriching the curriculum through outdoor learning.
