The Learning Outside the Classroom Service advises and monitors Nottinghamshire County Council schools' and Services' off-site activities and residential visits

The Outdoor Education Advisers are part of a national network of advisers in this field and are available to provide publications, training and advice on organising off-site visits.

The Service provides a policy and procedures relating to educational visits for schools, which follow DCSF guidelines:
