Outdoor and Environmental Education advises and monitors Nottinghamshire County Council schools' and Children, Families and Cultural Services' establishments' off-site activities and visits.
The Outdoor Education Advisers are part of a national network of advisers in this field and are available to provide publications, training and advice on organising visits.
The Service provides a set of guidance documents relating to visits for schools, which follow Department of Education guidelines. These can be downloaded from the links below.
In April 2011 revised Visits Guidance was produced and an online approval system for visits (EVOLVE) launched.
