Parents do not need to worry about finding childcare for this new school term; the Nottinghamshire Families Information Service (FIS) is here to help!

The Nottinghamshire FIS provides free, impartial advice about registered childcare to help parents and carers find the ideal setting for their child. Whether you’re looking for out of school clubs, childminders, day nurseries or pre-school playgroups, the team of dedicated information officers can match your childcare requirements to a database of Ofsted registered childcare in the county.

Looking to start a college course or train? The Nottinghamshire FIS can provide information about the help available towards childcare costs. They provide information on Working Tax Credits and Employer Supported Childcare.

Children who turned three in April, May, June, July or August are now entitled to an early years place offering 15 hours of early years education every week over 38 weeks of the year. Nottinghamshire FIS can provide information about the free early years places and help you find a place for your child.

Getting free and friendly support is easy. Parents and carers can call Nottinghamshire FIS on tel: 08449 80 80 80 or  e-mail: fis@nottscc.gov.uk
