Childcare - how do we measure up?

From April 2008, all local authorities have a duty under The Childcare Act 2006 to secure enough childcare for the parents and carers that live in their areas.

In preparation for this, our Families Information Service (FIS) have carried out a detailed assessment (Childcare Sufficiency Assessment) of the supply of, and demand for, childcare in the county.
