A Successful Bidders’ Open Day was held on 21 April 2010
The aim of the day was to provide potential bidders with information on Nottinghamshire’s BSF Programme, and to provide an opportunity to meet key individuals involved.
The event was extremely well attended, with over 140 attendees from 100 organisations taking part on the day. Staff and pupils from the schools also attended. Nottinghamshire’s BSF team were joined by key County Council colleagues including, Cllr Kay Cutts, Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council, Anthony May, Corporate Director for Children & Young People’s Services along with other Government representatives and advisors.
The purpose of the bidders’ open day is to allow Local Authorities, who have been entered into the national BSF Programme to look for a partner with an effective supply chain to enter into a BSF Local Education Partnership (LEP). The partner will supply the complete range of design, construction, partnering services, facilities management and ICT services involved in our Building Schools for the Future programme.
