There are three steps to take to make a referral to Clayfields House Secure Children’s Home.
1. Check the young person meets the legal criteria for referral to secure accommodation.

If you are unsure in any way don’t hesitate to telephone us on 0115 917 0010 and ask to speak to the Duty Manager who will be happy to advise. The Duty Manager will be one of:
- Thirza Smith – Centre Manager
- Jenny Monk – Deputy Manager
- Linda Wright – Deputy Manager
- Ben Thurley – Deputy Manager
2. Check there is a bed available
You can do this in two ways:
- Telephone us and we can let you know the current situation - 0115 917 0010
- Check the Secure Accommodation Network website which is updated daily with bed availability.
3. Send us a referral form
Download our referral pack and complete the necessary information.
You can return the form to us by:

- Email: if you have a CJSM secure email account you can email the form to placements.clayfields@nottscc.cjsm.net
