The Waste Development Management Policies document will be prepared after the Core Strategy and alongside our waste site specific proposals. This document will set out policies for controlling development and making sure environmental standards are met. Policies will therefore cover issues such as traffic, noise and dust as well as policies aimed at protecting important wildlife, heritage sites and landscapes.
Current progress
Preparation of the development management policies document has not yet started, but we will keep this page up to date when work starts. The document will be prepared jointly with Nottingham City Council.
The current approved timetable and any subsequent changes to it are set out in the Minerals and Waste Development Scheme. We will also publish any updates here and on our facebook page. Once adopted, this document will replace the relevant parts of the Waste Local Plan.
