Community projects scheme suggestion form

This form should be completed setting out your ideas for local environmental enhancement schemes whcih you think should be considered for inclusion in Nottinghamshire County Councils' Local Improvement Scheme programme. Completed forms should be submitted by 28th September 2012.

* Brief outline of your idea. Please include details of location, and attach plans or designs if possible. Please also describe the main reasons for doing the project and the benefits which it will bring.
* Who owns the land on which the proposals would take place?
* How is your project supported by the community? Please provide evidence if possible. e.g. notes of meetings.
* What are the main difficulties you see with your delivering the project? What could go wrong?
* How might the project be maintained in the long term once Local Improvement Scheme funding has ended?
* Is the project linked to other current activities to improve the local environment?
* Please estimate the cost of the project (even a rough guess is helpful!)
* Do you have any other funding sources that may help towards the scheme?
All projects will be assessed, and those in the County Council's view will bring the greatest benefit will be developed further in consultation with the community group concerned. The highest priority schemes will be implemented in 2013/2014. Others may be put on the reserve list for later years. Some may be referred onto other funding agencies. All proposals can expect to receive a response by May 2013.
