- Civic Trust
A charity devoted to enhancing the quality of life in Britain's cities, towns

- Images of England database - a digital library of photographs of England's 370,000 Listed Buildings.
- RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) now has the domain name Architecture.com which has 250,000 pages of useful information about architecture, architects, and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
- Society for the Protection
of Ancient Buildings was founded by William Morris in 1877 and today it
is the largest, oldest and most technically expert national pressure group
fighting to save old buildings from decay, demolition and damage. A source
of publications and advice.
- Nottinghamshire Archives, this also has a local studies section of published material.
