Nottinghamshire’s carbon management plan sets out the actions that the County Council can adopt in order to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 60% from its own buildings and operations by the year 2050:

By nature the document focuses on internal actions by the authority and is of importance to members and staff. However, in view of the community leadership role which the authority is adopting on climate change issues, the document has a wider importance to partners across the county as a way of raising awareness and benchmarking actions.
Reporting our greenhouse gas emissions
An annual statement for our greenhouse gas emissions has been produced to meet a central government requirement.
