Cycling Design Guide
Nottinghamshire County Council’s Cycling Design Guide was first launched in 2004. The guide is compiled from good practice, standards and guidance on cycling developed both nationally and locally and in its first two years of existence has received positive feedback from the Department for Transport, cycling groups and from neighbouring authorities.
The document has recently been updated to account for developments in cycling design and policy and lessons learned since the original guide was launched.
