Trading standards officers enforce a wide range of legislation to make Nottinghamshire a better trading environment. We use information received to focus our attention on the Trading Standards issues causing the most problems to our communities. We support legitimate businesses to help them trade well and act quickly to tackle issues compromising consumer safety. Our officers work with other agencies to target enforcement action against rogue traders and to protect our most vulnerable residents. We play an important role in managing the health and welfare of the county’s livestock.
