"the acquisition of goods, works and services which meet the customers' and service users' needs, whilst ensuring value for money throughout the life of the product including disposal".
- Put simply, procurement is about the purchase of goods, works and services needed to enable Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver services to the people in its county
- This can be anything from paper clips, photocopiers to major construction projects, thus demonstrating the diversity of products the County Council purchases
