TIS is our in-house translation and interpretation service covering over 40 languages.

As well as word-processed translation, our service is available for face-to-face meetings and audio recordings.
What is translation?
The transcription of the written word from one language into another language.
What is interpretation?
The transfer of the spoken word from one language into another language.
Who are our customers?
As a trading unit of Nottinghamshire County Council, our services are also available to:
- other local authorities
- public sector organisations
- registered charities.
