The County Council is a partner in the development and management of three business innovation centres in Nottinghamshire - located in Worksop, Mansfield and Newark. The three centres are home to 150 small local businesses.

The Nottinghamshire business innovation centres are designed to give innovative businesses the space to succeed. They support new and existing businesses by providing excellent office and clean manufacturing units along with administrative and business support. They also have excellent conference facilities and each has a cafe on site.

Oxford Innovation - www.oxin.co.uk - have a contract to manage the three centres. Effective from 1 April 2011, the contract was jointly awarded by Nottinghamshire County Council, Bassetlaw District Council, Mansfield District Council, Newark and Sherwood District Council and East Midlands Development Agency (emda).
